How much does it cost to sign up?
There is no cost to sign up and you are under no obligation to trade either. You will be assigned a designated dealer along with access to our award-winning FX platforms, all free of charge.
Are there any hidden costs or fees?
No, all of Sonam Capital FX’s charges are contained within the exchange rate we offer you. Our overheads are lower than that of a commercial bank, so the exchange rate we provide is a fraction of what banks charge.
Where are my funds held?
In partnership with Ebury, all client funds are held in segregated accounts with a number of tier 1 banks across the world
Where can I make payments to?
As a client, you can access over 130 currencies and make payments to most countries across the world.
Is there a limit to the number of accounts I can hold?
Ebury offers virtual account solutions which can be tailored to your needs (within their capabilities). They currently have currency accounts available in over 130 currencies and can provide you with one Currency Account for each currency you need.
Who can I receive funds from?
You can use your currency account to receive payments from clients, partners and subsidiaries or other legal entities within your group. If you are an online seller, you can receive funds from approved online marketplaces. In order to comply with our regulatory requirements, we may request you to provide invoices for incoming payments from certain clients.
Will my Currency Accounts be held in my own name?
Yes. Your Currency Accounts will be unique to you and will be held in your own name. This means that when paying you, your customers will address their payment to you, and not to Ebury or Sonam Capital
