Property investors are enjoying significant increases in rental income, according to the latest data from CoreLogic.
Across Australia, the rent for the median investment property jumped 10.1% in the year to February.
That was the same as the January result and only slightly lower than the record 10.2% increase in December.
The reason rents are increasing so quickly is because rental accommodation is so hard to find.
In February, only 0.8% of rental properties were vacant, according to Domain โ the lowest on record.
