Two-thirds of home loan customers are choosing mortgage brokers to arrange their loan, while only one-third are going directly to a lender.
Brokers originated 67.2% of all new home loans in the June quarter, compared to 32.8% for lenders, according to Comparator.
Broker market share has continued to rise over time:

* Five years ago it was 53.9%
* Ten years ago it was 44.9%
