Australia's housing downturn is well and truly in the rearview mirror, after CoreLogic reported that the national median price has now increased for six consecutive months:
* Aug = 0.8% increase
* Jul = 0.7%
* Jun = 1.1%
* May = 1.2%
* Apr = 0.5%
* Mar = 0.6%
During those six months, Australiaโs median property price has increased by 4.9%.
The metro markets have led the way, with prices rising 6.0% in the combined capitals and 1.6% in the combined regions.
