Australiaโs median property price has now increased for eight consecutive months, after rising another 0.8% in September, according to CoreLogic.
During that time, the national median has risen 6.6%, although it's still 1.3% below the peak recorded in April 2022. But at this rate of growth, that mark should be passed in November.
Looking at the individual capital cities, every city recorded price growth over both the month and quarter, except for Hobart.
Perth and Adelaide are already experiencing record-high prices, while Brisbane is likely to set a new record this month.
