Happy new financial year for property owners, with Domain forecasting that prices will increase in much of the country over the next 12 months.
Domain expects all capital city house markets and most unit markets to grow during the 2023-24 financial year.
If Domain's forecasts come to pass, the Sydney, Adelaide and Perth house markets will hit record highs, as will the Brisbane, Adelaide and Hobart unit markets.
โWeโve already started to see prices rising this [calendar] year, and weโre expecting that to continue, but weโre expecting the recovery to be slow and steady,โ Domain chief of research and economics Nicola Powell said.
